The accuracy and stability need to be further improved. From the perspective of production control and quality, the accuracy and quality stability of network printing are not as good as those of offset printing and gravure printing, especially the accuracy of internal offset printing. It is easy to lead to the mismatch of product quality in production, not just the mismatch between batch production. Even for the same batch, it is difficult to ensure the consistency of color tones, specifications, etc.

Higher costs. At present, the cost of online printing is still relatively high, mainly including two factors. First, the thickness of the ink layer of online printing is relatively large, and the use of ink will certainly increase the cost; Secondly, the screen printing performance is relatively low, the process effect is the same, and the screen printing takes a long time, which will also increase the production cost.

Multi-color printing is more difficult. Most of the existing network printing devices are monochrome. For example, in order to achieve multiple effects or perform multi-color printing on a product, there will often be blank space without waste, which not only wastes time and resources, but also affects the delivery time and even the next batch of orders.

Multi-color automatic network printer is needed on the market. In order to improve production efficiency and printing accuracy, it is hoped that the full-automatic network printer will be developed in the direction of multi-color, popularized, and fully benefited by domestic packaging and printing product users. Ink must be developed in the direction of environmental protection. In general, the products produced in China are relatively complete, some of which are of very good quality and develop rapidly. The problem is that the solvent content of solvent-based paint is 60%. When drying, the solvent must volatilize in the air, causing serious pollution. With the increasing demand for environmental protection, the government has also issued a series of relevant policies and formulated relevant standards, and customers' environmental requirements for packaging products will also be higher and higher. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the research and development of environmentally friendly coatings in the future.

Screen printing materials need to be developed more intensively. At present, China's network printing industry has not formed a large-scale and modern network printing industry from equipment to materials, from the original production technology to printing, and then to printing, which is in a relatively backward state. In particular, the high-quality, thin printing ink and special ink used, the four-color "plus" and "UV" ink are almost all imported. Therefore, the screen printing industry must actively grasp modern science and technology to make the screen printing technology more brilliant and create greater economic value.
